Identify the correct race

Check the racecourse, scheduled time, race number and named runner. Similar horse names or multiple meetings can make a short betslip easy to misread. Use the event record rather than a television schedule to identify the wager you accepted.

Win and place conditions

A win selection and a place selection have different settlement requirements. For each-way bets, examine how the stake is split and which place terms apply to that race. The number of places and the fraction of odds should be read from the accepted offer.

Changes to the field

Withdrawn runners, rule deductions and abandoned meetings can affect settlement. Save the original acceptance record and inspect the operator racing rules. This guide does not promise that the South Africa horse-racing product is available in the Zambia service.

Each-way arithmetic to inspect

For a hypothetical each-way bet, read whether the amount displayed is per part or the total stake. A stake of R10 on each of two parts exposes R20 overall. Place returns then depend on the place fraction and number of places offered. This example explains the structure; it does not establish the terms of a particular SuperSportBet race.

If the field changes, consult the racing rules for the accepted bet type. Do not infer a refund or unchanged place terms merely from a horse being removed from the public race list.

A practical review before confirming

  1. Select the correct country service and event.
  2. Read the complete market and period in the betslip.
  3. Confirm the price and stake at the acceptance step.
  4. Keep the accepted reference and consult the relevant rules if settlement is disputed.

Protect your spending limit

Decide your maximum spend before following an event. Do not increase it to recover an earlier loss or because a broadcast personality sounds confident. A selection can lose even when the event analysis appears persuasive. Set account controls using the operator tools and take a break if wagering becomes difficult to control.
